About Cunnamulla P-12 State School
Founded in 1877 alongside the beautiful Warrego River, Cunnamulla P-12 State School is a rural and remote Prep to Year 12 campus located on the land of the Kunja people in the Darling Downs South West region, 9 hours drive from Brisbane.
With strong ties to the community and a rich educational history, Cunnamulla P-12 State School prioritises the teaching of reading and literacy skills whilst championing contextualised and experiential learning with real-world relevance for the students.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Deputise for the Principal when required.
  • Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
