Deloitte Consulting has a number of career opportunities for people with experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), working in areas like FP&A or Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting. As businesses look to gather insights from the increasing amounts of data that are now available, there is a greater need to bring it all together and deliver insights. EPM is a key enabler in helping a business turning data into insights and plays a key role in driving growth and success. With a vast array of technologies available to businesses there is a key role in advising and implementing tools that enables leaders to make the right decisions. We are helping an increasing number of clients in their wide-ranging challenges and looking to grow our team by hiring top talent.
You will be a key member of client service teams helping our clients to enable their teams to design and then implement EPM technologies, helping them to drive their business strategy, while ensuring they are connected across all functions. These are challenging and fulfilling opportunities with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly.
About the role:

Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage finance transformation projects in one or more of the following areas: -

  • Advise on, and implement, technology implementations (Anaplan, SAC, OneStream etc), working with clients and vendor teams to deliver high quality solutions
  • Knowledge of the full EPM suite, Finance Analytics, Planning Budgeting & Forecasting, Profitability & Cost Management, Management Information and Close Consolidate & Report
  • Providing high quality advice to clients based on experience and leading industry practice
  • Keep up to date with the market for EPM technologies across the main vendors
  • Process Optimisation and Simplification to deliver insight and lasting change to our clients
  • Working with clients on how they are structured to deliver success, working on Finance Operating model design and implementation engagements
  • Manage projects and teams, leading by example and fostering our talent
  • Strong planning and finance process knowledge, problem solving skills, project management, adaptability, and the ability to remain logical in ambiguous situations

About you:

  • Prior project experience in Business Finance processes or a significant role in the day-to-day FP&A management of an organisation is essential
  • Qualified accountant with CIMA, ACA or other accounting qualification desirable, and a strong academic record
  • Extensive post qualification experience
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence. The ability to develop good working relationships is critical
  • Ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables
  • Experience or qualifications in Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting tools, e.g., Anaplan, SAP, OneStream, preferable
  • Initiative and a proactive approach, balanced with strong business acumen
