This role will be responsible for assisting Equitable’ s MC & OpCo members in planning and booking their corporate/business travel arrangements. As such, this role will liaise with an outside Travel Management Company, which specializes in managing corporate travel needs. This role will be responsible for understanding client requirements, researching travel options, providing recommendations, and coordinating all aspects of the travel booking process, while also strictly following Equitable’s Travel Policy.
Key Responsibilities:

INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND CONTINUOUS LEARNING:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new travel destinations, and emerging technologies in the travel industry.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and industry events to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Share travel-related insights and recommendations with clients to enhance their travel experiences.
    The base salary range for this position is $72,500 - $90,500. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

    Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role within the travel industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, itineraries, and travel-related services.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, reservation management tools, and online travel platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with SABRE a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and travel-related software.
  • Knowledge of visa requirements, travel regulations, and documentation procedures.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing industry trends and client preferences.
