TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY YOU POSSESS:

  • Competent in Financial modelling;

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

  • An undergraduate/postgraduate degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or Accounting. History and Psychology minors are a benefit.
  • Working towards completion of CFA/CPA/CMT designations.

Responsibilities:

HOW DOES THE ROLE IMPACT THE ORGANIZATION?

The Equity Capital Markets division, a team of analysts covering approximately 250 companies, has a solid commitment to investment research, investment banking, and institutional sales and trading. Associates play a critical role assisting in all tasks required for the Equity Research Analyst to stay abreast of market events with the end-goal of providing sound investment judgement on particular stocks to clients. Individuals in this role are continuously learning and developing their investment analysis and securities evaluation skills in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has exemplary writing skills and is an excellent communicator.

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Work with the analyst to create top down and bottom-up reports for Financial Markets from both a technical and quantitative perspective;
  • Developing and maintaining technical and quantitative models, writing research, and verbal presentations to equity sales/trading personnel, and institutional clients.
  • Assisting the analyst in day-to-day tasks
