Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a ERP Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s technological landscape. You will be responsible for configuring and customising their ERP system, ensuring it aligns perfectly with their business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical support, integrating systems for seamless data flow, monitoring performance, implementing security measures, coordinating upgrades and migrations, developing documentation, staying abreast of industry trends, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Configure and customise the ERP system to meet the organisation’s business needs
  • Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues related to the ERP system
  • Integrate the ERP system with other systems as required for seamless data flow and interoperability
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular performance tuning activities
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures within the ERP system
  • Coordinate and execute ERP system upgrades and migrations
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices related to ERP systems
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the ERP environment
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide effective solutions

The ideal candidate for the Senior ERP Technical Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience in application development and business & systems analysis. You will have a deep understanding of ERP architectures and integrations, with proven experience using DevOps for solution delivery. Your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally will be key to your success in this role. Experience writing various types of documentation and familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions will be highly advantageous. Above all, you will understand how an ERP supports business processes and operations.

  • Strong knowledge and working experience developing applications
  • Business & Systems Analysis experience
  • Understanding of ERP architectures and integrations
  • Experience using DevOps for solution delivery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience writing solution designs, functional documentation, unit test plans, release notes, as built specifications and training guides
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions is a plus
