A leading building services consultancy is currently recruiting for a locally established ESD consultant / engineer to contribute to delivering a range of national projects, scopes, and buildings in the built environment.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior/Lead ESD Engineer with several years’ local experience, a strong sustainable design understanding, and expertise in IES-VE, Energy Modeling for Green Star/NABERS, WELL, and Section J.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive ESD initiatives, guiding a team towards integrating sustainable practices in building services projects.
  • Create environmentally responsible design strategies, optimizing energy efficiency, water conservation, and overall sustainability.
  • Work closely with clients to understand sustainability goals, providing innovative and creative solutions aligned with best practices.
  • Manage ESD aspects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with green building certifications.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in ESD engineering within a building services consultancy.
  • In-depth knowledge of green building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools for energy modeling and simulation.
