Responsibilities:

  • Internal audit or regulatory assurance or advisory work experience
  • Existing knowledge of the UK regulatory environment (with specific focus on ESG & sustainability), as well as the relevant global reporting initiatives in effect or being rolled out across the coming years and their impact on clients
  • Preferable to have experience in delivering and managing work under recognised assurance standards (ISAE 3000, 3410 as minimum) and the ability to review varying subject matter & criteria to determine appropriate assurance approach
  • Have undertaken ESG assurance and advisory assignments and have an understanding of review methodologies and techniques including assignment planning and risk assessments
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), ability to influence, lead, engage, and manage stakeholders
  • Ability to lead smaller engagements or sections of complex engagements including performing detailed review of files and working papers, initial review of key deliverables and ensuring file quality meets assurance, ISQM1 and internal requirements for quality.
