YOUR SKILLS

  • A master’s degree and first equivalent professional experience in relevant fields, especially with a focus on Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas accounting, is required
  • A strong data-oriented approach with the ability to efficiently analyze, interpret data, and make decisions based on this analysis
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, and verifying reporting obligations in the ESG area
  • Knowledge in dealing with ESG-relevant regulatory requirements, such as CSRD, and the ability to recognize and address compliance gaps
  • The ability to create forecasts and analyses to support decision-making in the sustainability strategy
  • Strong communication skills in English (fluent); German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • As an ESG Data Accountant and Analyst (m/f/d), you play a central role in managing and analyzing our environmental data, especially in the area of CO2 and greenhouse gas accounting. You will also support related areas such as energy, water, and waste.
  • Identify and correct reporting errors and ensure our data aggregation and accounting logic align with external standards.
  • Identify new reporting obligations and document them to improve our compliance and disclosure in the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) area.
  • Assist in creating forecasts and analyses that support strategic decisions in our sustainability strategy.
  • You are responsible for navigating the regulatory environment, particularly the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), for your core topic and closing potential gaps in our previous reporting.
