REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Environmental Economics, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in carbon trading or environmental finance.
  • Proven expertise in carbon markets and familiarity with environmental credits trading regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial products.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The ESG Manager for Carbon Trading is responsible for leading the company’s initiatives in carbon finance products and trading strategies. This position plays a crucial role in aligning the company’s business practices with global carbon reduction goals and enhancing its standing in the carbon trading market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage the company’s carbon credit portfolio, including sourcing, validation, and trading of carbon credits.
  • Stay updated with global carbon market trends and regulatory changes to maximize trading opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the carbon trading industry, including regulatory bodies and sustainability certification agencies.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of carbon finance products.
  • Ensure transparency and accuracy in the reporting and verification of carbon credits.
