ESH Manager (Jurong Island/ Chemical Plant)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Level C WSH competency certification & certified in Biz Safe level 2.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Vendor Management.
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with government authorities.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Skilled in People Management to effectively lead the ESH team in consistently achieving Section KPIs.
• Familiarity with ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000 standards.
• Capable of conducting risk assessments and EAI assessments.
• Able to lead accident investigations.
• Knowledgeable about the ACTA framework.
• Possesses strong planning and organizational skills for task assignment and resource deployment.
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Displays passion for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Characterized by integrity.
• Handles issues and employees with firmness and assertiveness.Exhibits flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile.

• Ensure the regular updates of plant process safety and oversee the management of the (MHI) Safety Case.
• Ensure the Company’s adherence to legal, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements.
• Manage Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) related work procedures/SOPs, as well as any ad hoc tasks assigned.
• Handle communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding ESH matters.
• Supervise and coordinate all ESH training initiatives within the Company.Take charge of staff development and training to enhance overall competency levels.
