Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Level C WSH competency certification & certified in Biz Safe level 2.
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Vendor Management.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with government authorities.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Skilled in People Management to effectively lead the ESH team in consistently achieving Section KPIs.
- Familiarity with ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000 standards.
- Capable of conducting risk assessments and EAI assessments.
- Able to lead accident investigations.
- Knowledgeable about the ACTA framework.
- Possesses strong planning and organizational skills for task assignment and resource deployment.
- Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Displays passion for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Characterized by integrity.
- Handles issues and employees with firmness and assertiveness.Exhibits flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the regular updates of plant process safety and oversee the management of the (MHI) Safety Case.
- Ensure the Company’s adherence to legal, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements.
- Manage Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) related work procedures/SOPs, as well as any ad hoc tasks assigned.
- Handle communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding ESH matters.
- Supervise and coordinate all ESH training initiatives within the Company.Take charge of staff development and training to enhance overall competency levels.
