The Integration engineer is responsible for Coordinates the activities required for ensure integration processes of assets entering EECL RGBU plants portfolio, either through an Internal Development or M&A process, or after their commissioning by the Construction team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Civil engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, industrial engineer o equivalent
- Knowledge in project management aspects.
- Knowledge in design and/or operation of power plants.
- Interest in cross-cutting topics in the development, construction, and operation of power plants.
- Desirable knowledge of environmental issues and permits applicable to energy projects
- 3+ years of experience in power plants project management and/or power plants design/implementation/operation

Responsibilities:
- Participation during Development and Construction phases:
- Works closely with the BD and Project teams to ensure that the design of new RGBU assets incorporates O&M requirements, through, among others, coordinating the review of plant’s design and technical specifications, maintenance contract, O&M team structure and overall O&M strategy, providing comments and recommendations based on O&M experiences and incorporation of lessons learned from previous projects, aiming at assuring a smooth operation within the budgeted costs
- Handover from Projects to O&M:
- Leads, from the O&M side, the Handover process, coordinating activities with other teams within O&M (site, technical support, etc.) and cross-functional departments (environmental, SSO, etc.), reviewing new plants maturity level and compliance with technical and quality standards. With the objective to minimize timespan between plant’s COD and O&M full takeover
- Integration of M&A projects:
- Participate to define the integration process of companies or assets acquired through M&A, working with EECL support functions and RGBU local and global teams, aiming at assuring operational continuity of the acquired assets while maintaining integration costs within the approved budget.
- Prepares the Integration Plan in coordination with Business Development team before the acquisition of the target and executes it after transaction closing
- Continuous Improvement in integration process:
- Analyzes current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the project integration process.
- Proposes and implements improvements across the O&M department
