We are seeking a skilled Estates/Facilities Manager with extensive experience in commercial FM operations. In this role, you will oversee both direct labour and subcontractors to ensure efficient service delivery in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing costs and meeting financial targets, as well as experience in audit processes and operational finance. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with certification in health and safety and knowledge of CDM regulations. Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office is required, along with a minimum of C&G Level 3 in mechanical, electrical, building services, or air conditioning/refrigeration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the deputy for the Head of Estates, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Estates function, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance needs are met while upholding compliance with statutory regulations and requirements. You will be responsible for meeting all contractual obligations, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to prevent any penalties. In addition, You will lead a team of supervisors and schedulers and ensure accurate reporting to support regular meetings and maintain necessary records. You will work closely with the Governance & Assurance Team to facilitate internal and external audits, promoting the continuous improvement of our services. By staying updated on technical competencies, and strive to deliver a high standard of service in line with the Skilled Person Matrix.
