About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join our Estates Department and help us maintain and improve our site.
Our maintenance team undertakes planned and reactive maintenance alongside minor project works on our Southampton site. The site is highly serviced and unique in design, construction and operation. You will work on a wide range of maintenance tasks including low voltage, BMS, fire alarms, security systems and AHU’s within simple offices through to complex laboratories and workshops at the cutting edge of science. It can be a challenging and dynamic environment but very rewarding at the same time.
About you
We are looking for someone with Electrical related trade qualifications to NVQ Level 3 (equivalent qualifications considered) and a 18th Edition Regulations certificate with previous knowledge of building services, as this role is for a multi-skilled engineer, we are also looking for experience of Mechanical engineering within the building services environment.
Experience of electrical installation and systems maintenance is essential for this role. Any additional training will be provided as required you

Location
This position will be based in Southampton. The centre is well connected by public transport and has ample cycle parking in addition to free onsite car-parking.
