Description:
The post holder should have a Building/Building services related HNC/HND or a higher level qualification and have relevant experience to enable them to undertake the duties of the post. CAD skills are essential. The post holder will be appointed as appropriate to named Competent Person roles for confined spaces and asbestos in keeping with requirements laid down in Hospital Technical Memorandums (HTM) and Health and Safety documentation. Suitable training will be provided.
The post holder will be a member of a small group of managerial/technical staff who manage and operate complex technical systems, incumbent maintenance contractor, performance and processes across the Forensic Care Group, ensuring compliance with Trust standards, procedures and legislation.The post holder will be required to participate in the Forensic Estates emergency on-call rota, following a period of familiarisation.Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively lead, motivate and be committed to the development of the department regarding training and performance development. A full UK driving license is essential
