ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Estimating Team Leader to join our collaborative, friendly and high performing product & Brand team in Brompton, South Australia.
As an Estimating Team Leader reporting to the Group Product Manager, you’ll oversee the estimating function, leading a team of analysts, setting the team’s priorities, and supporting the wider business.
In this role you’ll ensure timely new business quoting by managing workflows, entering data accurately, and providing feedback on data quality and improvements. Handle direct estimating for complex and overflow requirements.
In this pivotal role you will Collaborate with the LaunchPad design team to develop packaging concepts for internal and customer projects.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end estimating process to optimize service delivery and drive process improvements.
  • Provide quotes for simple to complex items and tenders.
  • Provide customer service on estimating systems and new business quotes to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain estimating systems by uploading costings.
  • Manage estimating system workflow to meet business quote lead times.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to drive continuous improvement initiatives, including integration and synergies between systems.

To be successful in the role, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in successfully leading teams
  • Estimation, planning or administration experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong data entry and data management experience
  • The ability to solve problems and navigate challenging situations.
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with quoting systems and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
