Company Summary:
I have partnered with my national client to find them the right Estimator to join their team in 2024, for projects locally and regional Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s open to developing their career and looking for a new, exciting challenge!
My client has an excellent reputation in the VIC & QLD construction industry spanning over 20 years of proven success delivering projects up to $30m+, specialising in the commercial project market. This organisation has had a successful 2023 and have strong plans for 2024 and beyond, already with projects awarded this month! With a commitment to excellence the driving force for this organisation, underpinned by their mission to be the industry leaders in quality and safety delivery.
They operate across a range of delivering methods, with D&C being a big focus they are ideally looking for an Estimator to join their team, with proven experience within the Commercial Construction industry. Projects ranging from between $5m - $30m+ across commercial, industrial and, retail and fit out sectors.

With a strong pipeline of work already under construction and due to company growth, they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team in their centrally located Gold Coast office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, honest, reliable, with a growth mindset to step into this role.

Your Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent are preferred
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.)
• Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors
• Ideally 3 - 5 years industry experience running your own projects $5m - $50m+
• Proficiency in Buildsoft, Cubit or other similar estimating tools, Excel, and MS Project;
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of construction costings and data analysis expertise;
• Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, including suppliers and subcontractors.
