Not only estimating projects and creating price quotations an Estimator with Custom Cubes is met with the unique challenges that come with custom modification. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of experience estimating.
  • Experience drafting plan views and elevations using Sketch Up Layout, or similar software.
  • Industry expertise, as demonstrated by experience in metal fabrication, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and well organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares estimates; costing and pricing for project builds for jobs outside of the sales team’s scope.
  • Effectively communicates with customers on project scope, estimates, pricing, and concerns.
  • Helps sales team’s, provides guidance as needed.
  • Addresses customer concerns regarding project scope, estimates, pricing, etc.
  • Achieves growth and meets sales targets by successfully supporting the sales team.
  • Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by adopting a customer-centric approach.
  • Sources materials for awarded projects, as necessary, following Custom Cubes’ best practices and identifying preferred vendors.
  • Develops and designs new products/custom requests.
  • Drafts layout drawings and detailed drawings as required to communicate intent.
  • Other related duties as required.
