Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects by the ETC Project Manager. Plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of assigned projects to assure accuracy, proper resources, cost reporting, project oversight, delivery of the project from start to finish.
Education and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
Years of experience: 3-5 years of Project Experience working in a Nuclear or Construction Industry.
Ability to obtain and maintain NRC Q Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Masters of Science in Nuclear Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
Years of experience: 7 plus years of Project Experience working in a Nuclear or Construction Industry
Ability to obtain and maintain NRC Q Clearance

JOB DETAILS

The work location for this position is with Enrichment Technology US, Inc in Eunice, NM
Fulltime
Monday through Friday; 8 am to 5pm. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
Travel: Yes; 15% of the time
CAA Access; Q level security clearance
Work Environment: Plant/Production with Low light, confined spaces, near moving parts, radiation, risk of electrical shock, chemicals, vibration, outdoor with extreme cold, heat, wet or humid conditions

Essential Functions

  • Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
  • Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.
  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains project database by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Experience with large manufacturing facilities construction sites preferred.
  • Requires strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and database applications.
  • An understanding of critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work under pressure, timelines and deadlines when required.
