LGIM Europe Ltd consists of a UCITS and AIFM Management Company, domiciled in Ireland and with branches in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden. As well as acting as a management company of funds, LGIM Europe distributes funds and provides individual portfolio management services to professional clients across Europe.
The investment team is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the investment proposition to our largest European clients. Members of the team carry out a portfolio support function in relation to European regulated fund structures and IPM/ Segregated Business Support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented new member of our Dublin office, working with the LGIM ETF team, in providing assistance to the development and maintenance of LGIM’s Irish domiciled UCITS ETF range which serve our expanding European Client base.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drafting of product proposal documents in relation to new products and managing internal approvals.
  • Reviewing of index methodologies against UCITS Regulations.
  • Drafting of Fund Supplements for new products and liaising with Legal Counsel in relation to same.
  • Assisting with drafting and reviewing updates to Prospectus, Fund Supplements and KIIDs in line with strategic or regulatory requirements.
  • Management of stock exchange listings (LSE, Deutsche Borse, Borsa Italiana, SIX Swiss Exchange, Mexican exchange) on an on-going basis, including arranging listing applications, periodic filings and notifications
  • Management of foreign registrations on an on-going basis, including carrying out research in relation to marketing of products in new jurisdictions
  • Assisting with the management of the annual AGM process (and any ad hoc EGMs) and all associated administration, including liaising with investors and intermediaries and sales team re. proxy form queries and procuring votes and preparing associated stock exchange announcements and notifications to listing authorities and regulators.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports for Board Meetings
  • Any other ad hoc requests relating to the UCITS platform management
  • Carrying out and managing regulatory filings, as well as understanding upcoming regulatory changes, their implications for fund management: working alongside Risk teams to ensure adequate governance of funds under management.

Qualifications

  • Financial, Business or Legal university degree preferred
  • Experience in financial services and/or regulated investment managers would be preferable but not essential
  • Experience in product or legal work for regulated investment funds is preferable
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • An ability to exert influence and develop senior internal relationships
  • The highest standards of fairness, integrity and discretion
