Description:

Overview:
In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is looking for an Ethical AI Specialist to help implement an ethical AI framework for our client. This opportunity will help build and integrate a new ethical framework to meet new and changing regulations in the government.
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder eligible to obtain a Public Trust.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement ethical guidelines and frameworks for AI systems, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in algorithmic decision-making processes.
  • Identify and mitigate biases in AI algorithms and datasets to minimize the risk of unintended discrimination or harm to vulnerable populations.
  • Awareness and implementation of relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to AI ethics and privacy.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Data Science
  • 2+ years experience related to AI
  • Knowledge of ethical AI practices, bias detection, and mitigation approaches
  • Strong understanding of government regulatory processes and practices.
  • Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder eligible to obtain a Public Trust.

Abilities:

  • Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Flexible to a changing regulatory environment
