Responsibilities:
Weatherford’s Legal and Compliance team are looking for a proactive, people-oriented, organized individual to join us as an Ethics Compliance Specialist for our Eastern Hemisphere operations. Based in Romania, the right candidate will play an important role in ensuring Weatherford’s organizational compliance with global laws, regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized qualification in business administration, law, paralegal or other compliance certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role in a corporate office environment.
  • Regulatory compliance experience preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience of legal and compliance databases (NAVEX, iManage) preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to speak fluent English is essential. Proficiency in other languages would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Role is based in Ploiesti, Romania

Responsibilities:

Process and Document Management:

  • Create and update Excel and Word documents to process and manage compliance-related data.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
  • Support and maintain legal and compliance software platforms, including internal document management systems, compliance registers and external third-party due diligence platforms.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Conduct monitoring reviews as assigned, providing detailed reports promptly.
  • Assist in responding to urgent compliance queries from various stakeholders.
  • Assist with the compilation of various regulatory reports, including formatting, media and marketing.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure compliance registers are up to date.
  • Liaise with team members and other internal stakeholders globally.
  • Participate in various compliance-related projects.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle basic word-processing correspondence.
  • Input information into spreadsheets.

Qualifications:
