POSITION SUMMARY:

• Need ETL Test Lead to work with functional, integration and E2E business process testing for an insurance account in Australia.
• This roll is for ETL Test lead who can work individually on the Azure migration project from Guidewire/DB2 and EVOLVE sources and can handle offshore team.
• Should have hands on experience and strong knowledge on ETL/DWH concepts with Azure cloud knowledge.
• Should be having hands on experience on Azure Synapse, Synapse Pipeline, Db2, SQL server experience.
• Should be able to create scenarios and defect tracking in JIRA.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Strong experience of ETL and Datawarehouse Testing using AWS/Azure Cloud services.
• SQL, Unix, VB Scripting, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift.
• Technical skills on SQL query, data modelling and data pipeline is essential for this role.
• Understanding complex business problems/requirements to develop test cases.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Hands on use of the Atlassian toolset of JIRA, Confluence Bitbucket, Jenkins and GIT
• Big Data Stack (ApacheSpark, Hive, Hbase), MongoDB, Python
• Insurance Domain Knowledge
• Data migration projects with Insurance COTS products like Guidewire and Evolve.

• Responsible to perform E2E Datawarehouse testing for large program.
• Liaison with BSA to understand the requirements.
• Prepare test strategy.
• Identify testable scenarios (test scenario document).
• Create / update the Requirements traceability matrix with test scenarios.
• Identify test cases for automation and seek sign off from customer.
• Create test cases based on the understanding of the requirements.
• Create/Modify the SQL test scripts as per the ETL mapping documents and technical specifications & Requirements.
• Run the jobs and perform smoke testing.
• Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases.
• Record and maintain testing evidence and track execution status of assigned test cases.
• Identify defects and log failures.
• Track defects (defect log as generated from the QC tool/JIRA Tool) to closure.
• Participate in the defect triages to gather evidence for defect identification on periodic basis for defect prioritization and fix.
• Retest the defect and update the status.
• Internal review and share for stakeholder review and feedback. Collaborate closely with BA & development team.
  Salary Range: >$100,000
