We are on the lookout for an In-House SEO Expert to join our awesome marketing team. This exciting role focuses on elevating our online presence and driving organic growth through expertly crafted SEO strategies, both through our written content, as well as through PPC campaigns (Google Adwords etc). This position offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in Europe, with regular visits to our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, to ensure alignment with our digital marketing objectives and content strategies.

Your main Responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies to improve search rankings and enhance organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content creation and optimization.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary changes for website optimization.
  • Collaborate on content strategies with the rest of the marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance, providing reports on key metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate and lead SEO training sessions for internal teams to enhance their understanding and implementation of SEO tactics.
  • Engage in strategic discussions and planning with management to align SEO goals with overall business objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or attained professional experience, in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager, SEO Specialist, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful SEO projects.
  • Expertise in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics) and web analytics.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Knowledge of PPC campaigns and social media strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel – occasional visits to our Copenhagen headquarters for training and strategy sessions If not based in Copenhagen.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly in European languages.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
