LEVEL OF EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above-listed tasks:

• Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages (Java, Angular);
• Good knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle);
• Good knowledge of development tools (Eclipse, Bamboo, Toad, Jira, GIT, Maven);
• Knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications (using REST, SOAP,…)
• Experience of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, AGILE);
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual (EN and FR) meetings, good communication skills;
• Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team. In addition to the requirements above, a good knowledge of EC Building Blocks would be an asset.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed:

• Development of front-end website architecture.
• Design of user interactions on web pages.
• Development of features to enhance the user experience.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Cross-platform optimisation.
• Design responsive applications.
• Design and develop APIs.
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
• Writing clean, functional code on the front-end.
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Meet both technical and consumer needs.
• Write technical documentation..
