EU INSTITUTIONS: SAP PROGRAMMER

We are seeking a skilled SAP Programmer to join our client’s team at the European Institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ERP development, integration, and optimization, along with proficiency in cloud technologies and database management systems.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 11 years of SAP related experience.

9 years of experience in Specific Knowledge and Skills:

• Expertise in traditional SAP ERP development, integration and test tools like ABAP, ABAP Objects, ABAP WorkBench, ABAP performance tuning, Dynpro, SQL Trace, RFC, iDoc/ALE, BAPI, SAP Workflow, testing with eCATT and within Solution Manager;
• Working knowledge of SAP Gateway, SAP AIF, SAP ETL and SAP PO;
• Working Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform implementations (“Neo” or “Cloud Foundry”);
• Expertise in any one of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS): SAP HANA DB , Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or SQLite;
• Expertise in the Structured Query Language (SQL) and PL-SQL language (complex queries, stored procedures and triggers)

• Develop and maintain SAP ERP systems using ABAP, ABAP Objects, and ABAP WorkBench to meet business requirements and ensure system stability.
• Integrate SAP systems with external applications using SAP Gateway, RFC, iDoc/ALE, BAPI, and other integration tools, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Optimize the performance of ABAP code through thorough analysis and ABAP performance tuning techniques to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency.
• Design, implement, and test SAP workflows using SAP Workflow and testing tools like eCATT to automate business processes and streamline operations.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager for testing, monitoring, and managing SAP systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions on the SAP Cloud Platform using “Neo” or “Cloud Foundry” environments, leveraging cloud technologies to drive innovation and agility in business operations.
