Description:

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

As stated in the Article 2.6.3.1. of DIGIT-TM II Service requirements, a minimum educational qualification for lot 1 is: Level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a EQF 6 bachelor’s degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

  • Ability to understand, speak and write in English;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
  • Excellent Team Player;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing his/her own workload independently, providing status updates, liaising with others and escalating issues as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The following tasks will be performed by the external service provider:

  • Gain knowledge of the solution(s) to be tested;
  • Gain knowledge of the test data and testing strategy;
  • Creation and modification of test data (in the form of a text/XML file(s);
  • Definition of test plans and test cases;
  • Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
  • Execution of the corresponding test(s) using EC test tool(s);
  • Reporting of test results;
  • Assistance with the coordination of test campaigns and communication campaigns;
  • Assistance with the running of the project support desk;
  • Interaction with project team members, business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers.

The following specific expertise is considered an advantage for the performance of tasks:

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile);
  • Knowledge of XML/Schematron file format;
  • Knowledge of Jira/Confluence/SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques;
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing;
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools;
  • Experience in the test data preparation;
  • Ability to apply high quality standards;
  • Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to participate in technical meetings;
  • Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports
