Business separations can take time so you might see references to National Grid; this is a part of the process and won’t make any difference to your application.

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting role where you will lead the development of the National Gas European commercial market strategy. The core of this strategy is focused on understanding the future direction of the EU gas market, assessing the possible impact on the GB gas market and determining our approach to managing the impacts. Proactively engaging with key industry stakeholders, analysing and driving the best results for the GB consumer are key outputs. Following the UK withdrawal from the European Union, this role must focus on building new relationships with relevant EU institutions in our position as a 3rd country to the EU.
The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for the National Gas market position by having an influence over EU developments to shape the future regulatory and commercial framework, and will ensure that future arrangements are clearly understood by the business and is able to react accordingly to maintaining strong linkages with EU markets.
