Job Description:
Reporting to the Corporate Vice President Europe Finance. You will be part of EU Credit & Collections Group as a European Credit Manager responsible for Accounts Receivable & Credit risk decisions for Europe & UK.

This position will expose you to working within a controlled multinational corporate environment, leading a highly experienced team of Credit Controllers & Credit Analysts & will allow you the opportunity to maximum revenue while minimizing risk exposure, mitigating potential bad debts by challenging existing
processes & procedures.

In this position you will:

  • Management of local team of Credit & Collections analysts responsible for OEM & Distributor accounts, six team members based in Dublin.
  • Management, via dotted line of Credit & Collections team of analysts located in PTC, Philippines for Mdirect accounts, eight team members based in Philippines.
  • Responsible for all administration functions of Sales Ledgers for all European & UK based customers, new & existing to include, Credit/ Risk analysis & timely Collection activity.
  • Foster & develop Customer & Sales relationships.
  • Oversee the monthly closing process, to ensure Sarbanes Oxley driven reconciliations rules adhered to & manage month end detailed analysis reports for team KPl’s, ledger performance & cash forecasts.

Requirements/Qualifications:
I.C.M. qualified or other relevant Credit Management qualification. Previous three years Credit Management experience in similar multi-national environment. Good communication skills & I.T. skills knowledge, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of BAAN or a similar accounting reporting package would be an advantage, but training will be provided.

  • Proven team management record, showing ability to work well with direct reports & internal & external customers.
  • Confidence in credit limit decision, up to $1 M authorization threshold.
  • Excellent communications skills, listening, written & verbal.
  • Continuously looking for ways of improving processes & procedures within the role, team & department.
  • Awareness of appropriate sense of urgency, ability to work at fast pace & excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative problem solver
