ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage Pricing process during an RFQ to achieve high hit rate and RFQ turnaround within the customer timeline
• Drive and support RFQ management for product aspects, according to DGF processes, standards and quality.
• Create the analytics framework (e.g. round over round, targets, etc) to support Gatekeeper to drive the pricing strategy and turn the RFQ into a winning bid

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years’ experience
• Experience with business intelligence tools and platforms
• Experience applying Project Management skills and principles including scheduling, resource allocation, task dependencies and coordination
• Degree in Business Administration or Logistics preferable

With the establishment of the House of Pricing (HoP) concept, a globally aligned process, universal format and governance will enable DGF ocean freight to do timely, complete and competitive pricing on large and complex bids. HoP is the pricing department of the Regional Ocean freight Commercial Center (Regional OCC). Regional OCC gatekeepers do decide on pricing strategy and HoP translates it into instructions to countries for quotation.
The Regional OCC Pricing specialist is responsible to translate customer file (Customer Pricing Template, CPT) into an Internal Pricing Template. The format of this IPT is structured and aligned globally to allow countries to quickly and consistently provide their rates. Indeed, the specific pricing/population of the IPT is done by the country OCCs, acting as the pricing desks of country organizations. The coordination of the country specific rate collection, consolidation of replies and front end/back end IPT/CPT conversion is done by the Regional OCC Pricing Specialist.
