Evaluation Assistant (Contract - 35 hours per week)
YMCA Calgary (Combination of remote and in branch work)

Salary: $17.00/hour

What qualifications are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of evaluation methodologies and creating data collection tools

. Skills in data analysis and dashboard reporting

  • Ability to conduct comprehensive literature reviews;
  • An appreciation for the importance of evaluation plans;
  • Skills in all methods of communication;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Three professional references;
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.

What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?

This Evaluation Assistant position is sponsored by Canada Summer Jobs funding. The successful candidate must also meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
  • Have valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment;
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist in collecting evaluation data and drafting reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Support data entry for evaluation projects
  • Conduct literature review to support program planning and evaluation;

. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and interpret how data collected is useful to stakeholders;

  • Assist in the development of evaluation plans for YMCA Calgary;
  • Be an active member of ongoing evaluation projects related to measuring impact in the association.
