Description:
ARE YOU THE BEST CORPORATE EVENT PLANNER IN DENMARK?
Do you have a passion for creating memorable events and a proven track record of planning and executing end to end with professionalism and high quality. Then this might be a good opportunity for you as we are seeking an experienced Corporate Event Specialist to join our team at Novo Holdings in Copenhagen.
Novo Holdings is expanding in team and presence, fostering a need for a dedicated event planner to strengthen our internal culture and external relationships through impeccable event experiences.
As an Event Specialist, you will join the People & Organisation team in Novo Holdings. We are focused on giving our colleagues the best employee experience, from recruiting, development and training to social events.
The position offers a two-year contract with an opportunity for renewal.
READY TO PLAN AND EXECUTE IMPECCABLE EVENT EXPERIENCES?
Working closely with the People & Organisation team and other departments, you will plan and host events for internal and external audiences in Novo Holdings. You will have an important role in interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders on all seniorities.
Your key tasks as Event Specialist are to:
- Design, coordinate, and execute internal and external events
- Manage travel and accommodation for speakers
- Ensure that we work seamlessly with external event planners on larger events, including overseeing project management, event quality and budgets
- Be responsible for communication in terms of materials and channels
- Act as event host to ensure quality before events, welcoming participants, facilitating the flow of events, etc.
In this position, you will work with both small- and large-scale events: from supporting global Summits with 200+ participants to executing internal offsites and workshops, and social events. The job both offers and requires flexibility and involves executing occasional multi-day conferences or trainings and evening events.
ARE YOU OUR NEW COLLEAGUE?
We are looking for a structured and engaged individual with experience in coordinating and executing professional events such as conferences, trainings, offsites or similar, preferably from professional services or other highly demanding stakeholder landscapes. You understand that quality in both process and execution is critical for the success of the event, and you thrive in raising the bar in providing excellent and creative event experiences.
Furthermore, we expect you to have:
- At least 4 years of experience in designing, planning and executing multiple types of events for corporates
- Understanding of the importance of both the overall event experience and design and the small execution details
- Experience in working with event agencies (including negotiating prices and keeping budgets)
- Excellent coordinating and communication skills
- Fluency in English, both oral and written; fluency in Danish is favourable but not a requirement
As a person, you are proactive and take pride in delivering your work at a high degree of professionalism and quality. You are a team player that thrives on succeeding together and are also able to work independently. Further, the role requires good judgment and decision making, and that you are able to provide input on challenges relating to administration, events, processes, and communication. Paying attention to details and having a structured way of working is in your nature.
You thrive in a changing and dynamic working environment, where interacting with many different international stakeholders motivates you. Finally, you have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong networks and relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, and execute internal and external events
- Manage travel and accommodation for speakers
- Ensure that we work seamlessly with external event planners on larger events, including overseeing project management, event quality and budgets
- Be responsible for communication in terms of materials and channels
- Act as event host to ensure quality before events, welcoming participants, facilitating the flow of events, etc
