Description:

The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Events/Account Manager with an eagerness to succeed and the energy to thrive in an agency environment. For this role, you need to be a self-starter as you’ll be responsible for planning, developing, and managing some of our leading client accounts. You will have a passion for events and a keen eye for detail. You must be confident in your abilities to build rapport and develop meaningful relationships with your colleagues and clients. This role requires a proactive individual with a creative mindset who is not afraid to put themselves out there. This role is key in supporting all aspects of client management and event delivery including project and budget management, as well as strategic ideation.
Specific Responsibilities

Responsible for management and ownership of key client relationships

  • Project manage events and campaigns of varying scales for our clients
  • Generate opportunities to create and deliver extensive campaigns and events for clients
  • Budgetary Management - PL ownership for accounts under your remit
  • Support the senior team in ideation, preparing pitches, and responses to briefs as well as cost proposals. As and when required, lead out on creative brainstorming
  • Work with the commercial and sales team, to identify potential opportunities for the agency and devise an approach and response for said opportunity.
  • Generate add-on or upselling opportunities with clients
  • Monitor project progress on a weekly basis using our internal time management and budgetary systems
  • Ability to carry out industry/market analysis, identify important insights and trends and assist in the delivery of pitch material
  • Manage and liaise with account executives and interns on priorities, workloads, and resource support requirements
  • Negotiate beneficial and competitive rates and contracts with suppliers and maximize third party revenues to specified targets
  • Attend weekly management meetings and provide project updates
  • Supplier engagement and relationship management
  • Provide timely project reports and summaries to both clients and director team as required
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and seminars
  • Make decisions with management team on wider TITAN strategic direction, and potential areas of opportunity

KEY SKILLS

  • A passion for events is essential!
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Events Manager - preferably in an agency (a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior role or equivalent)
  • Extensive on the ground experience i.e., managing events and campaigns end to end, including large scale events and associated budgets
  • Outgoing and excellent communicator (both verbally and written) with a range of clients in a variety of sectors
  • Experience in managing, delegating, and working alongside a developing team
  • Skilled at budget management, with experience in managing client budgets of varying scales
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • A highly organised person with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate especially throughout busy periods
  • Maintain strong and healthy relationships with all third-party suppliers
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
