Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Australian Green Clean are on the hunt for Events Supervisors to join our Adelaide events team. You will be responsible to lead, mentor and manage cleaning teams of up to 15 staff. Flexibility is key as events require availability across a 24/7 day roster. Particularly evening, overnight and weekend availability is essential.
This role is best suited to someone with a “hands on” leadership approach and willingness to work with and alongside the team. This is a labour intensive position, you will be required to work both outdoors and indoors in all types of weather conditions, physical fitness and stamina is important. If you are seeking a typical 9am-5pm office job this position is not for you. This role is a fantastic fit for someone is looking to take their next step in their career and to join a exciting and rapidly expanding organisation. You will also get to attend some of the most iconic events across Australia.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading and supervising cleaning teams of up to 15 staff
  • Delegating appropriate tasks to staff members skillsets
  • Liaising with event organisers/ managers
  • Negotiate with clients and contractors
  • Machine operation; high pressure washing, forklift and ride on sweeper & scrubber
  • Forklift Operation
  • General cleaning duties: litter picking, vacuuming, emptying bins, mopping and cleaning of bathroom facilities
  • General administrative duties
