Signature Recruitment is seeking an Exam Assistant to join our client’s Faculty of Medicine for a full time, temporary assignment. This role is to start immediately for a 3-month position. It requires predominantly on-campus presence, offering an occasional opportunity to work from home.
As Exam Assistant, you will join the School Support Staff team within the Faculty of Medicine, assisting in running written and clinical examinations. Your days will be filled with tasks that are vital to maintaining the integrity of the exam process, from the preparation of materials to the direct support of exams within hospital settings. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to dive into a variety of tasks.
EXAM ASSISTANT KEY SKILLS:
- Demonstrable administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and tackle new challenges.
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- A confident communicator with a friendly demeanour, capable of working well within a team and engaging positively with students.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination materials, including printing, laminating, and setting up exam rooms.
- Support the coordination and delivery of clinical exams in hospital environments.
- Assist with managing spreadsheets, including verifying exam mark results.
- Act as an invigilator on exam days, ensuring a fair and orderly examination process.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for clinical in-person exams and undertake additional ad-hoc duties as required.
