Job Summary
A BRIEF OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Examinations, Teaching Assessment and Convocation, the Examinations Administrator is responsible for supervisory, logistical and administrative aspects for midterm, mid-year, final and deferred examinations, including exam accommodations. This position is also responsible for a full range of services including scheduling, convocation support, operations, security and academic integrity of examinations and examination invigilation under administrative authority of the Office of the University Registrar.This position produces and publishes complex exam schedules. This position coordinates venue set-up and details with campus security, facilities, and safety teams for instructor-managed exams. This position receives and processes accommodation requests and liaises with students, instructors, and campus partners regarding accommodation plans. This position acts as a first point of contact for complications in the exam process including student in distress, accommodations, and exam disruption. This position also directs, allocates, and supervises the work of other staff.
The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work frequent early mornings, evenings and weekends, according to program or area needs.

Develops, revises, and maintains procedural and policy documents regarding exam administration and workflow.

Required Education
- Three-year Community College Diploma or Three-Year Bachelor Degree, or equivalent.
- in business administration preferred. or
- in computing preferred.
Required Experience
- More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.
- Experience working at a post-secondary education institution considered an asset.
- Experience working in a comparable client-focused environment considered an asset
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Assess the suitability of job candidates and recommend the most appropriate person for hire.
- Monitor and assess output and the quality of work from team members and recommend need for formal training or development plans to management and identify possible performance and/or disciplinary issues.
