Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analysing network inventory and identifying opportunities to re-distribute pockets of high inventory
- Building on our product exit strategy to build a fit for purpose process that minimises cost for the business and maximises returns
- Working closely with sales and buying colleagues to ensure high level execution of range change transitions eliminating excess stock
- Pursuing any opportunities where excess stock and Sale or Return agreements are followed through to supplier collection
- Supporting our manual product change process
- Validating and distributing ‘Bin End’ lists to encourage sell through of end of line products
- Identifying through effective root cause analysis where existing issues may repeat, high supplier Minimum Order Quantities, for example.

Responsibilities:
An opportunity has come up as we expand our supply chain and logistics expertise for an Excess Stock Analyst. We have a distribution network consisting of 2 National depots plus 9 regional depots, all of which carry c. 4,000 drinks products that we distribute to our on-trade customers. This new role to the team will be responsible for looking at network smoothing opportunities for our inventory, reviewing excess stock and having ultimate responsibility for our exit process when items no longer have a relevance to our customer base.
