Description:

NTU Shared Services (NSS) is a centralized unit within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that provides a wide range of administrative, operational, and support services to various departments and units within the university. Its primary goal is to streamline and optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality services to support NTU’s core mission of education and research.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information System
  • Service Desk Operations
  • Access Control Operations
  • Hands-on experience on End-user Computing, Active Directory, Office365, Exchange Admin Centre, ServiceNow
  • Some experience in low-code platform e.g. UiPath, Outsystems, Power Query or demonstrated willingness to learn
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • Experience in programming is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of access control requests requests received by the Service Desk
  • Monitor performance of automation solutions implemented, address issues and exceptions, perform first level debugging when automation fails and execute manual workarounds until a fix to be implemented
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly system reports for users
  • Serve as the primary contact for receiving feedback and addressing issue and escalate these matters to the appropriate parties, while offering suggestions on potential improvements and recommended solutions
  • Support the audit of functional teams
  • Involve in creation of dashboard for management reporting
  • Support in troubleshoot for functional issues in system and automation solution
  • Execute manual workarounds when necessary
  • Handle customer’s feedback and ensure prompt and effective resolution
  • Ensure access control procedures, work instructions and configurations are accurately documented and up-to-date
  • Meeting of service level agreement
  • Suggest improvement opportunities achieved by process re-design, automation development or system enhancement
  • Be the subject matter expert on Access Control operations and provide knowledge sharing as appropriate and develop capabilities within the team, function and organisation
  • Exposure to improvement projects and automation development opportunities
