ABOUT YOU
- Experience in an executive assistant role supporting C-Suite leaders;
- High integrity including ability to manage confidential and sensitive information;
- Proven complex diary management experience;
- High-level of verbal and written communication, organisational, time management, problem solving, decision-making skills whilst always maintaining confidentiality;
- Ability to establish and maintain sound working relationships with peers, team members and stakeholders in a professional team environment;
- Understanding of the finance sector in Australia to recognise key stakeholders and their role in interactions with APRA is desirable; and
- Proficient in using Excel / PowerPoint / Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
You will have the opportunity to work with one of our Executive Board Members and a Senior Executive Leader providing business support whilst collaborating and supporting the broader business.
The APRA Executive Board Members’ Executive Assistants operate seamlessly as a team so the APRA Members can deliver on APRA’s mandate. While the Members’ Executive Assistants work directly to their respective members, the role reports to the Senior Executive Assistant to the Chair.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the point of contact for the respective Member/s and Senior Executive;
- Providing strong liaison and coordination with the APRA Members’ EAs to ensure the APRA Members collectively are well-supported across the full remit of their activities;
- Managing / prioritising calendars, coordinating stakeholders, providing supporting materials, managing travel, expenses and procurement processes;
- Manage, prepare, review incoming correspondence, including assisting with prioritisation and sign offs;
- Liaise with peers across APRA in the coordination of projects, events and other administrative activities;
- Work collaboratively across the broader EA/Administration teams to ensure a continuous improvement mindset and approach; and
- Due to the operational requirements of the role, this is a full-time position which requires the role to be performed in the CBD office Monday to Thursday, with an option for working virtually on Fridays.
