Description:

  • Executive Assistant
  • Working with a lead Trades Union across NSW/ACT
  • Permanent, full-time opportunity - full-time in office initially
  • Located in Sydney CBD, close to public transport links
  • $90,000-100,000 + 12% super + RDOs + Other great benefits

PREVIOUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Cert IV in Business Administration or diploma of Business
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a personal or executive assistant in a medium sized organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with boards/committee management, including experience with agendas, papers, minutes and follow up actions
  • Well developed skills with technology, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe products
  • Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communications
  • Highly organised, motivated, articulate and high attention to detail
  • Event organisation experience highly desirable
  • Experience assisting Lawyers in the collation of material and preparation of briefs to Counsel is desirable
  • Must be willing to be in office 5 days per week

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal administrative support to the Branch Secretary
  • Diary management, travel, schedule meetings, appointments, developing agendas, board/committee papers, minutes, etc.
  • Monthly reporting, compliance and organisation of compliance reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement, both internal and external, including high level communications and drafting communications
  • Assisting with event coordination, including sourcing venues, catering, speakers, invites, papers, etc.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures and high level administration
  • Manage room bookings and ensuring smooth operation of the day to day operations, particularly around video conferencing, tele-conferencing, IT requirements and more
  • Provide assistance across the team when necessary
