Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING | NGĀ WHĀINGA MATUA
You will provide comprehensive support to our General Managers for our Bioprotection and New Cultivar Innovation portfolios, ensuring efficient operation and management of daily activities. You will have exceptional planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail, while handling sensitive information with discretion.
This is a varied role where you will:
- Manage and maintain executives’ schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries, and assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity and discretion.
- Coordinate and manage executive projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and board members.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines.
To be successful in this role, the minimum qualifications required are:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive or secretary role.
- Previous experience working for a Senior Manager(s) would be an advantage as would event and travel management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of relevant financial reporting principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, along with an ability to multitask and coordinate a complex set of tasks
- Understanding of frequently used computer software and programmes, especially online tools for running meetings and workshops (Teams, Zoom, Miro etc) and competent at using Microsoft Office applications (word, e-mail, excel, PowerPoint).
- High-level interpersonal skill
