We are looking for a motivated and experienced Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator for a fantastic opportunity in a local government organisation. If you have experience working in local government and are an organisational superstar, we would love to hear from you. This position will commence ASAP, and will be a full-time temp assignment.

Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager by completing a diverse range of administrative duties. This position actively provides advice and direction to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a positive customer experience for the community and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities would include:

  • Administrative Support: Provide high-quality administrative support and advice to the Manager, leadership team, and wider staff. Handle administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely services and information delivery, aligning with organisational objectives.
  • Operations Management: Prepare and manage day-to-day operations for the Manager. This includes handling communication and correspondence, follow-up, and resolution of routine matters.
  • Guidance and Training: Collaborate and support the administrative team, ensuring effective workflow processes. Utilise corporate systems to enhance positive customer experiences.
  • Coordination: Coordinate responses to requests, complaints, GIPAs, reports, memos, and briefing notes within tight timeframes.
  • Correspondence and Reporting: Draft and manage correspondence, reports, and other relevant documents.
