About the role
The Strategy and Governance (S&G) team plays an instrumental role in providing strategic planning, governance, policy, engagement, and advisory services at Queensland Public Trustee (QPT). S&G is responsible for a wide range of services across QPT, assisting Board of Management in prioritising approach, strategy, programs and projects, maintaining whole of organisation objectives, and providing rigorous, timely and accurate advice about whole of QPT strategy, policy, governance and engagement and progress and performance against the agency’s strategic objectives.
As an Executive Assistant, you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring high-level confidential executive and administrative support to the Executive Directorate Program. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll play a crucial role in facilitating the effective leadership of the Program, enabling the achievement of organisational goals and strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include diary management, correspondence preparation, office system maintenance, data coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining records, developing office systems, and ensuring accuracy in all administrative processes.
  • High level of initiative to resolve issues independently, work under limited supervision, and contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
  • Strong capability to develop and maintain working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
