Description:
Position Summary
The role provides effective, high-level administrative support to the Heads of School, to ensure the smooth
operation of the Middle and Senior School. Through the provision of superior service to staff, students and parents,
the role ensures that the School is operating effectively so that student learning and pastoral opportunities are
optimised. This role requires significant attention to detail through data entry and validation using a variety of
platforms, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Applicants should address the following criteria in their application
SC1 Administrative Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks, including
calendar coordination, drafting correspondence and reports, maintaining accurate records, and handling
documentation for appointments and meetings with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
SC2 Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability
to interact professionally and empathetically with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, staff,
parents, and external contacts, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
SC3 Event Coordination: Experience in coordinating events and functions, including booking facilities, issuing
invitations, preparing relevant paperwork, and liaising with support staff to ensure successful planning and
execution of events within a School environment, fostering a positive school community.
SC4 Adaptability and Initiative: Capacity to work effectively in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision,
demonstrating initiative, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines,
and collaborate with team members to achieve organisational goals while maintaining a professional and
courteous demeanour.
