Description:

This is a key role, reporting to the Geo Head & Board Member. You will be required to support the day-to-day work of the Geo Head & Board Member. You will have access to confidential information, requiring absolute discretion at all times.

Required skills / experience:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar position.
  • Able to plan, organize and anticipate requirements well in advance to support the smooth running of the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English & German (preferred).
  • Experienced at dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proactive approaches to problem-solving.
  • Highly resourceful & flexible with the ability to be effective independently.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Board Member´s work including:

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Board Member including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential, arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, agendas and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Board Member, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action or response in coordination with the Board Member.
  • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence etc.
  • Support the Board Member in the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, budgets and related activities.
  • Support the Board Member in the preparation of all documentation needed for key decision making as required.
