Your opportunity
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide executive administration and operational support to ensure the Executive Group Manager, Risk and Legal Services is able to effectively balance group management and Executive Leadership Team priorities. This position also undertakes research, analysis, interpretation and synthesis of business information to assist the Executive Group Manager deliver organisation priorities within timeframes and budget. This position also provides administrative support to the Risk and Legal services group as required.
You will come from an executive administrative support background, which will see you confidently using your judgement and exercising discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. The role is within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment and you will need to be self-sufficient and a self-motivator as you report to a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
To be successful in the role you will have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will be able to prioritise tasks, think outside the box and use your initiative in an autonomous environment to assist the operations of the Risk and Legal Services Team.

Can provide confidential executive administrative support to the Executive Group Manager.
Manages and improves processes and systems and ensures that essential records are correctly maintained and deadlines achieved.
Enjoys researching department and Council issues and can follow up on behalf of the Executive Group Manager to inform decision making and achieve Council objectives.
