Accountabilities:

  • Diary and calendar management – Head of DN&OSS and two direct reports – Head of OSS and Head of Test Labs and Validation.
  • Travel planning – both domestic and international
  • Event planning – planning of departmental events alongside the DN&OSS business manager. Departmental All Hands, Innovation Days, Hackathons, Team building, Strategy days etc…
  • Coordination with other Executive Assistants and Business Managers for Senior Leadership meeting, travel and event planning
  • Assistance with ad hoc team activities:
  • System approvals – e.g. Holidays, Purchase orders etc…
  • Team holiday calendar planning
  • Maintenance of departmental distributions lists
  • Presentation preparation
  • Minute and action taking

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Digital Networks and OSS (DN&OSS) team is responsible for the provision of OSS, Digital Networks and Networks Test, Labs and Validation services to Vodafone’s European Markets and International Networks, encompassing strategy, design, delivery, project management and engineering services. The team is situated within the wider Vodafone Network Strategy and Engineering (NSE) organization and provides transformation services to support and enable the NSE Network engineering functions and Vodafone’s wider Pan-European Network organizations – Network Planning, Network Quality and Network Operations.
We are a large and exciting organization of over 500 employees, distributed across Europe and our shared service locations in Asia. The team is very much positioned at the forefront of Digital and AI innovation for Vodafone Networks and plays a key role in shaping, enabling, and delivering Vodafone’s strategic goals of Customer, Simplicity and Growth.
The DN&OSS team is currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to work alongside and support the Head of DN&OSS. We are seeking candidates with strong and demonstrable Executive assistant experience, ideally in a large multi-national corporate environment. A strong proficiency in business English, excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, relationship building, communication and planning/organizational skills are a must for this role.
Alongside the day job activities, the successful candidate will be offered extensive learning and development opportunities to support their professional development and the achievement of their career goals. They will also have a great opportunity to build a rich professional network of Senior Executives across the Network and Commercial leadership teams.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Digital Network & OSS and will form an integral part of the departments Leadership Team.
