The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) has an ambitious digital strategy, a strategy central to how we will deliver exceptional care to our communities. The Executive Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) reports directly to the Chief Executive. This CDIO will be responsible for delivering our Digital and Data Strategy and leading the use and adoption of new digital technologies and approaches to better support our colleagues and better care for our patients. Our new CDIO will play an integral role in the implementation of our quality improvement approach across our organisation and in the delivery of our joint EPR with Chesterfield Royal Hospital powered by Nerve Centre.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all digital systems and infrastructure are in place to support the delivery of the Trusts ambitious strategy. UHDBs CDIO will lead the necessary strategic and transformative operational changes to enable UHDB to implement the changes needed to make UHDB a digital first organisation.
