Executive Committees Governance Manager
The Executive Committees Governance Manager will engage in the provision of highly effective and efficient support and assistance to the XLICSE General Secretary & Strategy Director in the Dublin Office in the implementation and oversight of governance for Executive Committees*. The role will be heavily focused on meeting involvement for Executive Committees while also provide assistance to Functional leads as appropriate.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • ICSA Qualification or at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar company secretarial role
  • Experience in minute taking at Committee level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of Executive Committees in line with Board and other meetings where appropriate including the circulation of meeting invitations
  • Engaging with Chairs to prepare and draft technical agendas for Executive Committees
  • Collating meeting papers from all relevant stakeholders and distribution of meeting packs in line with approved Terms of Reference (TORs) documents
  • Attending meetings and drafting complex and detailed minutes and action logs for circulation
  • Proactively managing the list of action logs and matters arising from meetings
  • Assisting Chairs with periodic reviews of TORs and committee performance
  • Liaising with senior management and external parties as required
  • Managing other ad hoc tasks such as assisting with Internal Audit and CBI document requests as required
  • Oversight of work carried out by the Executive Committees Governance Assistant for the above Executive Committees
  • Key contributor to the actions and projects related to the overall governance of the company, in addition to good management of other committees
  • Executive Committees including but not limited to Executive Committee, Underwriting Committee, Audit Risk Compliance Committee (ARCC), Outsourcing Committee, Transformation Committee, Reinsurance Committee, Technical Reserves & Technical Reserves Valuation Form, Solvency II Technical Provisions Foru
