Description:

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Science, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent) with minimum 2 years relevant working experience, or •
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Senior Assistant Engineer or equivalent in related field with Diploma in Engineering (see above
  • Candidate with working experience or related qualifications in Safety, Training, and/or Quality Assurance would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Assist Branch Manager and Systems Support Manager to handle Administrative, Procurement & Logistic, Training Coordination, and Safety & Security related matters for the branch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the follow up on investigation works within the Branch.
  • Support the branch as the point-of-contact with P&S for procurement and logistic matters. Carry out the role of PR and MR Creator assisting the branch to put up Purchase and Material Request. Close the Purchase Order upon goods receipt.
  • Carry out the role of Asset Officer to oversee the fixed assets of the branch, perform branch planning and assets control.
  • Carry out the role of Administrator to manage the branch’s common/shared working platform. For example, KM folder, Network folder, OneDrive, or etc. Support the branch by keeping the documentation in the common/shared working platform up-to-date.
  • Carry out the role of Document Controller for document control and publication of internal circulars, new/revised Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Standing Instructions, and etc. Monitor controlled documents for review and updating. For example, 3 yearly review of work instruction.
  • Carry out the role of Training Coordinator, support the branch in training scheduling, support the master trainers in the coordination with PDO for training updates in ACE. Assist Branch Manager in the budgeting of training needs and oversee the utilization of approved training budget.
  • Carry out the role of Kaizen Coordinator/Evaluator to oversee the Kaizen projects of the branch.
  • Complete and submit branch reports timely such as weekly system report, monthly progress report, monthly branch report, monthly actual-forecast schedule report, 3-monthly SSFTA report, and etc.
  • Attend meetings and record minutes as assigned.
  • Plan internal or cross-branch inspections and staff engagement.
  • Perform internal branch ISO audits.
  • Assist in the review and plan adequacy of manpower and material resources.
  • Administer Branch Risk Register and Environment Aspect and Impact (EAI).
  • Carry out any duty as assigned and directed by supervisors.
