Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for Executive Fleet Senior Manager (Level L) to support the VC-25A in San Antonio, TX A successful manager in this role will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes safety, quality, accountability, trust, and teamwork.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams in a formal and /or informal leadership roles
- Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.
- 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams.
- 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership.
- An FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or an FAA Repairman’s certificate
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret or active Top Secret is preferred for VC-25A.
SUMMARY PAY RANGE: $124,950 - $169,050

Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas.
- Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Leads, develops and motivates employees.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
